We all need to start creating new futures for us, and others...
This decade is a unique one of massive unplanned personal, business, national and global disruption – unlike anything any of us have experienced in our lifetime.
Take just six examples of at least 40 tsunami-like events: The ongoing impacts of global warming. The Covid-19 mutations. The threats hidden in the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the Chinese aspirations for Taiwan. The impending global famine. The high likelihood of a massive global economic and financial reset. .

The past is now a foreign country
The major global transformations and “40 tsunami-like” events of this decade, have turned the past into a foreign country.
And those that insist on dwelling there - mentally, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually - are either redundant, obsolete, irrelevant, or on the path to extinction. Along with their businesses.
And it’s highly likely that aspects of all of us still dwell In that place of decline and extinction.
Three cheers for Maslow
In times of threat, fear, uncertainly, insecurity, as Maslow and Jung foretold, our inner “demons” tend to take control. They give our inner “angels” a massive kick.
As a result, we start to forsake our dreams of self-actualisation, co-operating, and doing good in the world. Instead the Darwinian ideas of “everyone for themself”. And “survival of the fittest” take over.

Pseudo antidotes
Right now we are seeing pseudo antidotes emerge. As billions look for "Mommy" or “Daddy” to rescue them – in the form of an authoritarian ruler, God, fundamentalist beliefs, the government, the Second Coming of JC, or pushing hard for a return of the way things used to be.
Our different response
Your and our response is different. We, as a collective, maintain it's our individual personal responsibility to create our new futures.
And it’s essential each of us take the time to reconsider, reform and even transform who we are, what we stand for, what our demons are, how we beat them, and how we will create better futures for us, our loved ones, and even for the wider world. This is precisly what we do within our Soul-Deeping groups.

Up until the beginning of this decade, most businesses, including big corporates could ignore the shifts in geopolitical realities. No longer. It's clear even sole traders are impacted by supply changes, threats from fires and floods, the shift in power between China and the USA.
One of the most intriguing shifts of 2022 is the extent to which a number of authoritarian regimes have over-reached themselves and their people are revolting.
Time for a major shakeup
We don’t have to be ‘sick’ to get better. But the reality is that the values, mindsets, actions, relationships, service offerings that in the past made us valued and successful Human Beings and Humans Becoming, are unlikely to maintain us in our near futures.
